Merry-go-round!

Horse on the merry-go-round in Franklin Square.  Kind of creepy and kind of pretty at the same time!

Theme Day: Statues

Pennsylvania Hospital, founded in 1751 by Benjamin Franklin and Dr. Thomas Bond.  This is the nation’s first hospital and the statue pictured here is in the back of the historic side of the building.

Fly away

We saw this sculpture while walking through Northern Liberties.

Happy Monday!

Statues of the Phillies Phanatic can be found all over the city.  I’m thinking its a form of artwork.  They are all made a little differently and this one looked like Franenstien-Phanatic!  Go Phillies!

Franklin Park, between 6th and 7th.

Pink Snow

It’s spring time and these trees are blooming all over!  They are so beautiful and when the wind blows its like pink snow!  There are pink piles of flower petals all over the city, but I think its really pretty.  Happy Friday!

Singin in the Rain…

This statue reminds me of the movie “Singing in the Rain!”

Reading Terminal Market

The famous Reading Market in Center City Philadelphia.  This market has every type of food you could ask for!  From delicious cupcakes to fresh meat to Amish food!  Its the best place to visit and get lunch!
